Well, Cory wanted some time doing more dangerous stuff so he went off and Asher was left to his own devices. He figured he didin't need a sled. His bum would do just fine.
After a few tries at that, he convinced Aunt Stacie to let him use her tube. It was quite a ordeal getting him on the thing in the correct position.
But eventually, he got the idea. Notice the huge smile on his face. Other than that, notice his shoe size and remember, the kid is only 3.

Cory and Asher Sledding
Cory got the privilege of taking Asher sledding for the first time. I know we live in Utah and I'm sure some of you are shocked that we havn't taken Asher sledding yet, but hey...we have snowmobiles and Asher would rather do that than sled. So in short, this is Asher's first time.
So, on their way down, somehow the sled came out from under them and Cory lost hold of Asher. But at the bottom of the hill, Asher was smiling and laughing and ever so eager to "do it again".
Cory and Stacie Sledding in American Fork Canyon
Stacie was brave but eventually decided this hill was a little steep for her. Afterall, it is only a little purple plastic sled between her and certain death.
In true husband style, Cory was proud of Stacie after every single run. They were so stinkin' cute all day long.
I had to get a picture of them close up. You know, when Stacie's hair isn't completely perfect. I'm glad to see she too is human.

Some Winter Pictures from Utah Vanderpools
Isn't Alex adorable? We found him a complete snow suit at Cabelas.
Asher just likes the snow but this was Alex's first time outside in the white stuff.
I just thought I would post this cause it is totally cute. Alex is becoming a ham.
He has taken after animals. Any time the dogs are in the house he is in their kennel or laying on top of them. Lexi tollerates it better than Mug.

Jonathan Goes Snowmobiling
Jonathan and I went up American Fork Canyon on Saturday (pretty isn't it) to go snowmobiling. He had to test out his new machine.
So he tested it out. The trail was nothing but mogels so any chance he got to go off the trail, he took it. Just after this picture he hit a rock and got stuck.
On the way back to the truck I saw these rocks. I'm going to blow up this picture and put it in Jon's garage.
And yet, more testing. Any time he saw a big mogel he would punch it and pop a wheely (sp). Part way back I figured out why I was smelling gas. We had filled my machine too full and every time I hit a bump, gas would splash out of the tank and onto my pants. We eneded up replacing spark plugs twice before getting back to the truck so we soon decided to sell the ski doo and we are going to my parents before Colin's wedding to pick up yet another machine.

I know that last year we had a huge Vanderpool Family Picture done. My mom saw it on my wall and thought that colored shirts were a great idea. So...during Thanksgiving, every Fisher piled onto that playground and this is what you got. Not near as many as the Vanderpools but, were still growing. The photographer didn't show so I had to set up my camera and snap what I could then set the timer and jump into the picture. The boys were so ancious to go riding on the machines they left before I could set the timer again so the only picture that I am in...I have my eyes closed. But, with a little editing...everything else turned out alright.
Brian (brown) Travis (blue) Jennifer (red) Stacey (purple) Alan (grey) Kari (white). These are my siblings. Everyone else is and in-law or a neice or nephew. My parents are in yellow.

Winter Snow in Utah 2008
So we got snow here, about 5 or so inches. Enough to cover the yard and let the boys play.
I love our flag....
Then, today it started snowing and snowing and we started driving the snowmobiles around the neighborhood pushing out stuck cars and so forth. You can see how much snow is in the back yard...but look at the bird feeder.
We got this much just today and it is only 3:45 pm. Needless to say, Jonathan and Andrew went snowmobiling in American Fork Canyon. They are planning a trip to the Cabin the winter. According to Granny, they won't be able to find the cabin.
Since the time I posted this...we now have over a foot here. We are expecting a storm on Christmas. It will truely be a WHITE CHRISTMAS!
Ps. Congrats Peter. We are so proud of you.

It's official!!
Well it's absolutely official now. Peter is a college graduate! All of his grades came in and I have to say I've never been more proud of him! He finished his last semester, which he says was his hardest, with all A's and B's! I am so thankful that this semester is over! And I know that Peter is as well. I'm trying to convince him to take a couple weeks off before he goes to work for the mortgage company, so he can spend some time with the boys. And I think I've got him hooked with that argument!

More from Oregon for Thanksgiving
So we were at the park....Asher loved the marshmallows and what you give to one kid, you must give the other...
Alex took the whole large marshmallow and shoved it in his mouth. My sister was shocked so she had to show me again and again. Lauging the whole time, Alex thought he was doing good because we were lauging at him.
Thanksgiving at the Fisher's House
My Mom and I went to the Rogue Valley Mall to find a gift. While there the boys got to see Santa ( the first time for Alex). Asher got this hat and proceeded to fall asleep in the car on the way home. When I went to get him out, I turned around to see this. I had to get a picture. My Mom kept the car running so he would stay asleep and I ran inside to get my camera. Worth it, I think.
Thanksgiving morning we took a family picture (not a grand as Vanderpool's last year) and the guys jumped on their bikes. Travis is on the motorcycle and Brian is on the 4 wheeler. Curtis and Jon we left with the scooters as Alan forgot the other two bikes for Jon and Curtis....
My nephew with Curtis and Asher with Jonathan, they started to take off for a ride. After a few trips around the driveway, Asher was satisfied so Jon proceeded up the mountain. When they got back, Brian said that Jonathan was nuts because he took that little scooter everywhere they took their bigger bikes. He meant EVERYWHERE.
Mom, Stacey, Asher, Alex and I went to a park in Medford for a marshmollow roast and hot coccoa....

Kari thanks for the new phone list
I just wanted to thank Kari for all her hard work and time she put into getting the family phone list updated and mailed out. I know it took a lot of time and money to pull this off. My family uses this list all the time. Thanks Kari we love it!

Sunday dinners...what happens after you leave...
So...this is for all of you who don't or can't stay later on Sunday's to play games or watch a movie or what not. Last night Peter and I stayed to play games with Mom and Dad. Peter decided that he wanted to eat the last of the cherry pie. Dad wanted it too... You see where this is going? Anywho, Dad decided that he would arm wrestle Peter for it and I snapped a quick picture. It was the funniest thing I'd seen all day. And I promised Dad that I was gonna post it on the blog so here it is...

Oh and Peter still ate the pie!
